 Event Outline
Travel by bus from downtown Austin to the scenic Texas Hill Country, a place where crystal clear streams and towering oak and cedar trees meet the majesty of the hills.
Once there, we'll feast at "the tastiest barbecue in America," as reviewed by the Travel Channel's 101 Tastiest Places to Chow Down — the famous The Salt Lick Bar-B-Que Restaurant. Guests will enjoy the tasty vittles, the open pit barbeque or take a stroll on the grounds, down to the creek or past the mansion.
But this is just the start of the evening. Guests will be able to play for high stakes at a private casino party. Roll the dice at the craps table, join a Texas hold'em game or try your hand at black jack. A little competition will be mixed into the event with $1,000 in prizes available, including a grand prize for the top winner.
Dinner, games, transportation and travel drinks are included in the event for just $199.00.

Time:
5:15 p.m. – Meet in lobby of Hilton hotel and board bus
5:30 p.m. – Bus leaves for The Salt Lick
6:00 p.m. – Bus arrives at The Salt Lick, BBQ buffet open
6:30 p.m. – Casino games open
8:30 p.m. – Western costume contest
8:45 p.m. – Casino/costume contest awards and door prizes given out
9:00 p.m. – Bus is loaded and returns to the Hilton hotel
Cost: $199.00 per person, includes bus, dinner, drinks on bus and casino "money"
